Experience Description

The Shoot and Retouch Photo Tour is a special photo tour and workshop for those who want to learn about shooting techniques and also learn how to retouch images to get the best from their pictures. The tour starts shooting around the oldest neighborhoods of Barcelona and finishes in a calm bar where you will learn about workflow and how to make your photos look more vibrant, dramatic and powerful.

Plenty of times we go shooting and later at home we find trouble trying to pop up our images. In this photo walk, you will have the chance to understand how important is to have the perfect setting in your camera while shooting in order to get the best contrast, sharpness, highlights and shadows.

Visiting Barcelona like a local, and learning about history, traditions and daily life on the way, in this experience you will explore and shoot inside the Gothic Quarter, including the Jewish neighborhood, Sant Jaume and Sant Felip Neri square and beautiful streets around the Cathedral of Barcelona.

ITINERARY

We are going to shoot inside the old city of Barcelona, covering the Raval and Gothic neighborhoods. We will cross some key places that are a must-see in the city as we are going to shoot in some specific streets or areas that are perfect to create strong images thinking about the post-processing part. After shooting, we will stop in a beautiful bar to retouch our images in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.

WHO CAN TAKE THIS EXPERIENCE?

This experience is private and was ideally made for solo travelers, couples, families and groups of friends. Whether you love photography or you are wishing to visit the city like a local, this tour is perfect for you!

DO I NEED A REFLEX CAMERA?

It is recommendable to have a reflex or mirrorless camera but is not fundamental at all. All the experiences were made for any kind of camera including also pocket, film, phones and even tablets cameras. Remember: In photography, it is all about training the eye, not the equipment.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE?

To have a perfect experience please bring enough free memory space to shoot as much as you wish, fully charged batteries or devices and comfortable shoes for the walk. Please consider coming light without extra or unnecessary accessories!

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

We do not usually cancel experiences because a possible rain as most of the time is a great opportunity to play with textures, reflections and create more dramatic images. If availability permits it and the rain is serious, we will do our best to reschedule it for another day at no additional cost.
